Domain Age Checker is a free tool that will help you to find out the exact date of your domain registration. It's very easy and fast, just enter your domain name in the search box above and click on "Check". You can also use our Domain Age Calculator for more precise results.
The term "domain age" refers to the time since your domain was registered by its owner. The older it is, the more likely it is that your website has been already indexed by Google or other search engines.
This service checks if your domain is still active or not. If yes, we show how many days left before expiration. If no, we show how many years have passed since registration.
This service is 100% FREE!
How does this work?
We crawl all top-level domains (TLDs) from public WHOIS databases every day and store them into daily updated databases. When a new TLD is added to one of these databases, we add it to our database as well. We then calculate the difference between today’s date and the last update date of each TLD. This gives us an indication of how old a particular TLD is.
We do not collect any personal information about users. All data is collected anonymously.
If your domain is over 2 years old, there are chances that someone else owns it now. In such cases, they might be using your domain for their own purposes without informing you.
If your domain is less than two years old, there are still chances that someone else owns your domain. In such cases, he/she could be planning to sell it soon.
When your domain expires, you won't be able to access it anymore. However, you can renew it at any time. To renew your domain, go to your account page and follow the instructions.
Yes, you need to renew your domain if you want to keep it. Once your domain expires, you lose ownership of it.
